Ask for the full reference and hashrate variant. Two devices in the same family may have different performance and power draw. The specifications on the order should match the delivered variant.
Check the algorithm, cooling method and operating conditions. Compare machines with consistent units and keep the specification sheet used for your decision.
Clarify condition and warranty
A model name alone does not establish warranty coverage. It depends on the terms applicable to the unit and sale. Have the coverage confirmed in writing.
- New, used or refurbished hardware.
- Available history and test results for used equipment.
- Known hardware or software modifications.
- Applicable warranty duration and start date.
- Exclusions, return procedure and transport charges.
Check the installation and accessories
Confirm voltage, connections, accessories and required power using the exact manual. For hydro models, include the liquid-loop requirements.
Ask what is supplied and what must be arranged separately: power supplies, cables, connectors or external equipment. Have a qualified professional validate the electrical installation; an adapter alone does not establish compatibility.
Get the delivery terms
Distinguish available hardware from equipment announced for a future batch. Ask for the estimated date, any dependencies and the agreed destination. Review shipping, insurance and applicable fees.
On receipt, inspect the packaging and document visible damage before following the agreed procedure. Keep the invoice, references and correspondence related to the order.
